About Dolar neozeelandez (NZD)

The New Zealand dollar (NZD), informally called the 'kiwi' after the national bird featured on the 1-dollar coin, is the currency of New Zealand. The RBNZ was the first central bank in the world to officially adopt inflation targeting, in 1989-1990, becoming a globally copied model. Banknotes are polymer-based, and NZD is a commodity currency tied to agricultural exports (dairy, meat, wool). The exchange rate is freely floating.
