About Forint maghiar (HUF)

The Hungarian forint (HUF) is the national currency of Hungary. Although Hungary has been an EU member state since 2004, it has not yet adopted the euro. The forint is relevant for Romanians traveling to Hungary or engaging in cross-border trade, especially in the Transylvania region. The BNR exchange rate quotes 100 HUF.
